Lindsie Chrisley and BFF Kailyn Lowry Have a Lot in Common — Get to Know the Newest ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star!
It’s a reality star crossover! If you recognized Lindsie Chrisley on last night’s brand new episode of Teen Mom 2 — it’s because you’ve seen her before. The 28-year-old has been starring on her family’s hit show Chrisley Knows Best since 2014, but she also has a podcast with Kailyn Lowry. Get to know more about Linds below!
She has a son, too.
The oldest daughter of Todd Chrisley gave birth to her son, Jackson Campbell, five years ago. Although she’s no longer with his father, Will, they co-parent together pretty well. “We are all going to be a part of Jackson’s life no matter what, so that’s the most important thing: To all be able to come together and wrap our hands around him and let him know that he is loved and that this is an unfortunate situation but that we’re going to get through it,” she told People in 2016.
She’s divorced.
Lindsie and Will eloped in 2012, but she admitted that the two eventually grew apart. “We had a little time apart, then we got back together in the hopes that we could make it work for our child,” she told the mag. “But we realized that two people that are not happy with one another and trying to make it work just for the child and not for themselves personally – that’s not in the best interest of the child, or either of us.”
She didn’t always have a great relationship with her father.
The reality star’s decision to elope didn’t go over so well with Todd and created a bit of a rift in the family — which is why she wasn’t on Chrisley Knows Best very often. These days, however, the two are “in a much better place” and have reached “an understanding” and “respect” for one another. We’re happy to hear!
