Chelsea Houska’s Ex Adam Lind Blames MTV for Being Broke AF During Child Support Mediation
Exes Chelsea Houska and Adam Lind reunited on last night's episode of Teen Mom 2 — but it's not what you think. Chelsea and her baby daddy met for a mediation after Adam requested lower child support payments due to his dire financial situation.
According to Chelsea, Adam has no bank account, no vehicle, and no job. When asked by her lawyer when was the last time he got a job, Chelsea explained how he went on a rant and blamed MTV for his unemployment. "He went on this rant, that he can’t get a job because, 'the publicity against me from MTV is negative,'" Chelsea told her friend Chelsey on the show. "You’re not getting a job because you did that to yourself, and because you were a huge d–k. Well, you are a huge d–k and they probably don’t want to work with you because you’re a huge, irresponsible d–k!"
Adam has been struggling to pay child support to his second baby mama Taylor Halbur. In February, a warrant was issued for his arrest after he fell behind on payments to the tune of $16,000 for their four-year-old daughter Paislee. Before that, Adam owed both Taylor and Chelsea a combined $9,000 in child support. He eventually paid the amount.
And it gets worst. Last month, Adam was arrested for allegedly violating a stalking protection order against him and before that Chelsea accused the 34-year-old of violating their visitation rules involving their daughter Aubree, 8. It was reported that Adam visited his daughter while she was with his parents, despite the fact that he lost custody earlier in the year. "Chelsea let his parents have her for a couple of hours. It wasn't their time to have her," a source told Radar Online. "[Chelsea is] livid and won't do that anymore. These grandparents haven't learned a d–n thing. [One] can definitely tell where Adam gets the rules and law don't apply to him attitude."
Luckily, Aubree has her stepdad Cole DeBoer as a father figure, with Chelsea legally changing her daughter's last name to Lind-DeBoer. "Aubree is so happy that DeBoer was added to her name,” a source told The Ashley's Reality Roundup at the time. “Over the last year or so, especially after [Cole and Chelsea’s son] Watson was born, Aubree has repeatedly asked Chelsea and Cole why she’s the only one in the family who doesn’t have ‘DeBoer’ as her last name. She understood she has a different dad, obviously, but she kind of felt left out being the only one with a different last name.”
