We’re trying not to get too ahead of ourselves here, but we just can’t help it. Lawson Bates‘ family just ‘liked’ a comment that suggested that he’s courting Jana Duggar, and this love match is starting to feel like it might actually be real. The speculation that the two reality stars are dating has been going on for years, but it was really sparked after Jana finally joined Instagram and Lawson left a flirty comment on her first post. That comment was hardly the only one about the Counting On and the Bringing Up Bates stars potentially getting together, though. The 26-year-old’s romantic photo with a rose garnered lots of fan responses that it might be for the Duggar daughter. “Give it to Jana!” joked one comment. “Ok… Jana, will you accept this rose!! 😄🌹” teased another, feeling total Bachelor vibes from the pic. “I hear Jana likes flowers 😏😉,” hinted another. Of course, while pretty much all fans agree that they would love to see this couple together, a couple of them also realize that there’s a good chance that Lawson is just trolling us.

“If they are [courting], cool. If not, Lawson and Jana are probably getting a good laugh out of it,” one fan wrote in the comments. He’s been known to have his fun with things before, and we wouldn’t put it past him to do it again. Others are speculating that the date he used to caption the photo (January 24, 2019) is a release date for a single or album. “Can’t wait to hear it!” they wrote. We can’t wait to find out what the news is, too — but we’re definitely crossing our fingers and hoping that it has something to do with Jana.
