Counting On’s Lauren Swanson Gushes Josiah Duggar and Bella Have ‘Very Similar’ Personalities
He’s got a mini-me! Josiah Duggar and daughter Bella Milagro are the perfect pair, Lauren Duggar (née Swanson) gushed in a recent Instagram post. After the Counting On couple celebrated the Duggar son’s birthday with a day exploring the great outdoors, one fan couldn’t help but note that Josiah and his little girl looked alike — but they weren’t just talking about their physical features. Though there is a definite family resemblance, the Instagram user was talking about something else.
“Is it just my imagination or does she totally have his personality?” they asked on the Duggar couple’s August 28 post. “Haha! Yes, she and Siah have very similar personalities,” Lauren, 21, responded. “It’s the cutest thing! They [are] always keeping me laughing!”
Josiah, 24, was known for being one of the silliest stars on his family’s TLC TV show. He was often goofing around with his siblings — and his wife knows how to play along. When the pair exchanged their first kiss at the altar, it initially seemed pretty passionate. The groom grabbed Lauren, dipped her low and then held her tight. However, when he pulled away, he exaggeratedly wiped his mouth as his bride cracked up.
Their wedding was also the scene of a famous family prank. While Josiah is usually the one pulling tricks, his brothers decided to decorate the newly married couple’s getaway car in things like confetti, wrapping paper and post-it notes. The vehicle was covered — and the cameras even caught a roll of toilet paper inside the car as the newlyweds exchanged another smooch.
As their 9-month-old daughter grows up, fans have seen just how smiley she is, too. It seems she definitely follows in her dad’s footsteps, and the parents are snapping plenty of pictures to prove it. “Bella has such a silly, curious and adventurous little personality,” the stars captioned one photo of their little girl. “These days, she keeps us busy on our toes. She just got her first little tooth, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cuter toothy smile as hers. She is constantly smiling and giving us the sweetest baby kisses! God has blessed us over and beyond.”
