TMZ spotted the 37-year-old shopping in Beverly Hills on Thursday when he shared the news of his future endeavors. He also revealed that while he has not spoken with his ex-wife Khloé Kardashian, 32, or any of her family members, he did intend to.
In Touch reported last month that Lamar checked into the facility — which was based in San Diego — as a precaution.
“He wants to stay clear and focused. He’s trying to take care of himself. He really wants to be better. His friends and family encouraged him to go in and he agreed and made the decision,” a source told People at the time.
It would probably be best for him to talk to KoKo, considering Life & Style previously disclosed that she and her mother, Kris Jenner, 61, were very worried about their family secrets being let out as he sought treatment.
“Khloé knows that a lot is going to come up while he’s in group therapy, and she can’t stop thinking about what all these strangers are going to find out about her. Khloé is happy he’s getting help, but she’s scared about what the people who are listening to his story in group therapy will say once they leave,” said an insider.
A second source explained that Lamar “not only has all the dirt on Khloé, but he has firsthand knowledge of the Kardashian secrets that could bring the family down. Khloé and her mom are already discussing how to deal with the revelations. They’re fearing the worst.”
We will hear more about his experience — and his nearly fatal overdose — on an upcoming episode of The Doctors.
