“In life, find a friend that is like a mirror and a shadow,” he captioned a video on Instagram of his new design, which featured a King of Hearts card handing over its heart to a Queen of Hearts. “Mirrors don’t like … and shadows never leave. Love you, @bangbangnyc,” referring to the famous ink parlor Bang Bang Tattoo in New York City.
Shortly afterward, Lady Gaga’s fans shared their feelings about the new work of art. One person wrote, “Gaga tattoo is better,” while another echoed, “Poker face inspired.” A third chimed in, writing, “GAGA IS THE BEST.”
However, some users actually defended Christian and told him to tune out the haters. One person wrote, “Christian, I think you should disable the comments ‘cause these ‘Little Monsters’ are being so f–king rude with you. You deserve so much better. They don’t know how relationships are, and they want to judge people, and they don’t know the real story. For your mental health, please block the comments,” while a second person said, “Just let it go, man. It’s not worth it. You seem like a good guy during the press tour of A Star Is Born. Anyway, I wish you well. Take care.”
So, is Christian’s tattoo about the 33-year-old? Well, it wouldn’t be the first time the talent agent, 50, got a tat in her honor. In 2017, fans noticed a mug on his left upper arm that looked a lot like the blonde beauty. The design featured the “Shallow” crooner’s face and a pigtail hairstyle. It seems as though Christian still has that old tattoo since the split, though, as fans pointed out that it’s on his opposite arm.
The former flames went their separate ways in February after two years together, but apparently, their relationship wasn’t all roses and butterflies. “She’s been hounded by Christian,” a source revealed to Us Weekly on April 25. “She told him not to contact her.” A second insider mentioned that Christian was “a bit toxic.”
Lesson learned: Don’t mess with Gaga’s heart!
