It’s safe to say Lady Gaga did not disappoint her fans at the first weekend at Coachella!

Mother Monster was called upon to perform at the incredibly popular music festival after Beyoncé had to cancel due to her pregnancy — and she totally killed it!

The full show included a good combination of some of Gaga’s greatest hits — including old songs we haven’t heard in a while (like “Teeth”), some mega hits (“Bad Romance,” anyone?), and even one brand new song, called “The Cure.”

Little Monsters who couldn’t make it to the desert for her headline performance were in luck — since Coachella streamed her entire show online while it was happening live, and they’re likely going to do it again for the festival’s second weekend.

While official critics had mixed reviews about her performance — The LA Times said she “disappointed,” while The Guardian called her a “consistently electrifying performer” adding that her desert gig certainly landed, fans were much more divisive (and supportive) of their beloved Mother Monster.

“There are no words to describe how I felt during your performance…simply amazing!” one fan gushed. Another added, “You guys, I’m still speechless because of Lady Gaga’s Coachella performance. What. A. Legend.”

Ahead of her performance, her choreographer Richy Jackson promised the performance would be high energy.

“When we work together, we just try to make everything different depending on the venue. So this is going to be about making a great performance for Coachella that will at Coachella and be for Coachella and about Coachella,” he explained. “This is sort of like a little Coachella exclusive. That’s the way I would look at it. It’s going to be high energy and fun. But it’s done for this show, for this venue.”

Safe to say, they did not disappoint!
