Next stop: Harvard! Kimora Lee Simmons’ daughter — whom she shares with ex-husband Russell SimmonsAoki Lee got into the prestigious university at only 16 years old — without the help of her parents. The fashion designer told her followers the exciting news on her Instagram page on Thursday, March 28. The mom-of-four couldn’t help but mention how proud she was of her daughter ever since news of the nationwide college admissions scandal broke.

“Yaaayyyyy @aokileesimmons!! She’s on her way to #Harvard!!” Kimora, 43, captioned the sweet post. “We are sooo super proud of YOU!! Such hard work and only 16! You did it! It took years of super dedication and lots of tears! But HERE YOU ARE!!! GO GIRL!!! Enjoy the journey! We are excited to see the great things you will do! Sorry I’m one of those SUPERLOUD MAMAS! She also got into Dartmouth, Vassar, Barnard, etc.! Woooo! #BeautyAndBrains!”

The brunette beauty also shared a video on her Instagram Stories about how her little girl got into school all by herself. “She got into Harvard,” Kimora said in the first clip. “I’m still crying and beaming. You don’t understand this has been a ride for me. I’m two out of two kids in college. I have two boys left, I don’t know if I can do it … Quite honestly, she really did it on her own merit and we’re so really proud.”

She added, “Yoki can’t row or anything like that. There was really no hope for us in that area. I’m just so proud that you did it on your own … Praise the Lord.”

Kimora threw some shade at Hollywood stars Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman, who recently made headlines for allegedly paying colleges to accept their kiddos into school. Lori apparently “agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000” so that their two daughters, Isabella, 20, and Olivia, 19, could get recruited by the USC crew team, even though they didn’t participate in the sport.

Of course, Aoki couldn’t help but show off her accomplishments on social media, either. “I’m only 16 and I’m going to Harvard, baby!” she exclaimed. “Insert emotional crying face. @kimoraleesimmons ‘thank God you got in on your own honey ‘cause you can’t row.’ Thank you so much to every single person who helped me along the way. I am excited and honored and so so grateful. #Harvard2023.”
