Time really does fly! It seems like just yesterday we were watching Kimora Lee Simmons and Russel Simmons‘ daughters — Aoki and Ming Lee — walk the runway with their famous mama for her Baby Phat line, and the once adorable toddlers are now in their teens. Watch the video below to see what they look like today — and prepare to feel old AF.
Kimora and Russell announced their split back in March 2006 but said they had already been separated “for some time.” Two years later, she filed for divorce. According to court docs, Kimora, now 42, cited irreconcilable differences and asked for legal and physical custody of the couple’s two daughters. She requested that Russell, now 59, get “reasonable child visitation to be accompanied at all times by the children’s nanny and security personnel.” At the time of their initial separation, he said in a statement: “Kimora and I will remain committed parents and caring friends with great love and admiration for each other.”
Today, it appears the two stuck to their commitment because they’re doing a great job raising Ming and Aoki! In fact, just two months ago, Kimora took to Instagram to post a photo of her oldest daughter getting ready for prom — and revealed that she designed her dress. She wrote, “OMG!! My baby’s going to junior PROM!! I’ve been emotional and crying all week and alllll day!! You look great, Ming! Have a great time!! Oh, and mama made this dress! And I made that beauty that’s wearing it! Handsome date, my other son.” BRB, crying!

In July, the famous siblings attended the Midnight At The Oasis Annual Art For Life Benefit, hosted by their dad’s Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation. At the time, Ming captioned her photo, “Thank you everyone who came out this weekend and helped raise money for the 18th year of Art for Life. It’s so nice to see people giving back!” Amazing! We’re happy to hear the family gets along so well — but we still feel super old, TBH.
