Kim Kardashian Apparently Warned Khloé to Stop Dating ‘A—hole’ Athletes

Ugh, sisters! Kim Kardashian is giving her younger sister Khloé Kardashian the advice she needs to stay far away from dating athletes — especially if she wants a successful marriage. “Kim knows all too well what it’s like. They seem super attractive at first but they’re all total a—holes,’’ an insider close to the Kardashians told Radar Online.

Between the 38-year-old’s short-lived marriage with former NBA player Kris Humphries, and her experiences with Reggie Bush, she’s basically a professional in the dating sport stars world. The source revealed to Radar that Kim has emphasized to the 34-year-old that “she can have fun with sports players by all means, but don’t try to be their future wives.”

Everyone knows that the KUWTK star’s favorite sport must be basketball, considering most of her flings were with men who play in the NBA. Khloé’s first NBA fling was brought into the spotlight in 2008-2009, when she dated Rashad McCants, who played for the Minnesota Timberwolves. On an episode of E!’s Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami, the Kardashian sisters find out that Rashad had been cheating on Khloé after they hacked into his voicemail and discovered messages left for him by a female fan. The mom-of-one later ended their relationship, however, Rashad claimed that they were actually broken up before the scene was filmed. Rashad told Page 6 that he and Khloé had “already called it quits,’’ and that the sisters did not even have his new phone number.

The Good American founder decided to move on quickly to Lamar Odom whom she married just after one month of dating. The two love birds’ relationship was chronicled on their own show, Khloé and Lamar, but Khloé’s bad luck struck again after Lamar was slammed with cheating accusations in July 2013 — and in December 2013, Khloé filed for divorce. The former Lakers player was also continuing to struggle with substance abuse, which was something that the reality TV star had tried to help him overcome.

Koko rushed to Lamar’s side in 2015 after he was found unconscious in a brothel in Nevada. After putting her divorce on hold due to Lamar’s health complications, she finally made it official in 2016.

In 2015, Khloé dated Houston Rockets star James Harden who was not a fan of being in the spotlight at all times. After 8 months of dating, the two split. James told Sports Illustrated that 2015 was “the worst year of his life.” Ouch!

Last and definitely least, Tristan Thompson. The 27-year-old and Khloé sparked dating rumors in August 2016 after the two were spotted leaving L.A.’s Bootsy Bellows nightclub. In 2016, the Revenge Body host and Tristan attended Flo Rida’s birthday party at LIV, where they made their first official appearance as a couple. In December 2017, Khloé confirmed that she and Tristan were expecting. In April 2019, things took a turn for the worst when Tristan was caught cheating with a girl in New York City. Khloé later forgave him, and the two welcomed their baby girl True into the world — but he just couldn’t help himself. On the infamous night of February 17, Tristan was caught cheating with Kylie Jenner‘s best friend Jordyn Woods. This was the final straw for Khloé, which caused her to end things with Tristan once and for all.

While giving her lil sis advice, Kim gushed that since marrying rapper Kanye West she has “never been happier” and “just wants the same for Khloé,” a source told Radar. But honestly, her luck with dating rappers was not successful either. Khloé shortly dated French Montana, and has been linked to The Game and Trey Songz as well.
