Queen of subtle shade! Kim Kardashian shared her thoughts about Blac Chyna — her former pal and now-mother of niece Dream Kardashian — in a a very candid interview with Jennifer Lawrence as the A-list actress filled in for Jimmy Kimmel on the Thursday, Nov. 2, episode of his late-night talk show.

“I always said when someone is going to ask me: Dream is going to see this one day and so it’s just super respectful not to say anything about my niece’s mom,” Kim, 37 — who was previously close to Chyna, 29 — eloquently told J.Law.

As fans are well aware, Chyna and Kim ignited a friendship around 2011, when the former stripper’s then-fiancé Tyga performed at Kendall Jenner’s 16th birthday bash. The curvaceous duo were frequently spotted running everyday errands together, such as grabbing lunch, shopping, and working out. They often took to social media to share pics of their outings.

But things got weird AF when Tyga left Chyna in 2014 to date Kim’s youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, who was just 17 at the time. Once the two became serious, Kim took Kylie’s side and cut the cord on her friendship with Chyna. Seemingly in retaliation, Chyna — who shares son King Cairo, 5, with Tyga — started dating Rob Kardashian in early 2016 and eventually welcomed their daughter, Dream, last November.

However, Rob and Chyna’s relationship ultimately imploded when the Arthur George sock designer posted revenge porn of the Lashed Bar entrepreneur back in July during a heated social media war. Chyna and the Kardashian-Jenners are now embroiled in a nasty legal battle. In court documents, the mom-of-two alleges that she, Rob, E!, and their production company were all interested in shooting a second season of Rob & Chyna. But, as Chyna claims, the famous family used their “power and influence over the E! network to kill the second season.”

Chyna is also suing Rob for alleged battery, claiming that he knocked her to the ground in front of her son, King, back in April. She also claims that he damaged her home during his alleged display of violent behavior. For his part, Rob filed a lawsuit against Chyna in September for alleged assault, battery and vandalism.
