Khloé Kardashian Is ‘Focusing on Herself’ Following Tristan Thompson Split: The ‘Situation Really Hurt Her’
Thank you, next! Khloé Kardashian is going full steam ahead and is moving far away from her drama with baby daddy, Tristan Thompson and infamous cheating scandal with Jordyn Woods. Although she is focusing on herself and looking forward, a source close to the star told Us Weekly on Tuesday, August 20, that the “situation really hurt her” and adds, “It’s been difficult for her to completely get past it.”
Even though the reality star, 35, still wrestles with the hurt from the scandal, “Khloé is really focusing on herself right now and is still not rushing to date anyone,” the insider said. From her social media posts, we see how the star is coping with her pain while still finding her inner strength. “This summer I have been focused on ME. Me from within. Mind. Body. Soul,” the mom to True said on Instagram on Sunday, August 18.
The blonde beauty has continually posted stories and pics that throw a little shade at those who wronged her. On Wednesday, August 14, Khloé posted an excerpt that said, “Sometimes you need to be selfish and make yourself and your happiness a priority.” She added, “This may require you to cut out some things in your life but be strong because your happiness is worth it.”
The True American designer is taking her time to heal and wants to do so on her own terms. “PSA: Please don’t tell people how to heal from something you’ve never been through,” she wrote on her Instagram story on Monday, August 5. She later added, “Be lowkey. Stay in your lane. F–k with yourself heavy.”
The KUWTK star has definitely had a rough couple of months since Tristan, 28, was allegedly spotted hooking up with Kylie Jenner’s ex-BFF Jordyn, 21, in February at his house after a night out. “They were cuddling, holding hands. Tristan was rubbing her ass, they were definitely hooking up,” a source told In Touch at the time. Clearly, Khloé is trying to leave the past behind her but the pain is, understandably, still present.
