Khloé Kardashian Responds After Someone Tells Her to ‘Protect’ True’s Skin From the Sun
She’s got this! Khloé Kardashian responded to one of her followers after they were concerned about how much sun her daughter, True Thompson, was being exposed to. “My beach baby and me,” the 35-year-old captioned several snaps of herself with her 16-month-old on the beach in the Bahamas on Instagram on Sunday, August 18.
But of course, some users were nervous about True getting a sunburn in the hot weather. “Please, please put a hat on True. Sunscreen doesn’t cover everything. Just a suggestion because I’m a nurse, and I’ve seen mamas bring their babies in the emergency room with sunburn on their little heads,” while another echoed, “She is beautiful, but make sure you protect her skin, mommy.” The KUWTK starlet wanted to set the record straight and replied to the last comment, writing, “Of course, love! I lather her in sunscreen.”
Meanwhile, other fans couldn’t help but gush about how adorable Koko’s child is. “Beautiful memories. I’m so happy you’re relaxing,” while a second person wrote, “After everything, you deserve this and so much more.” A third person chimed in, writing, “So precious!! There’s so many of us mamas that draw our strength from our babies, and you’re blessed with that beautiful little princess!!!”
It seems like the blonde beauty is finally in a great place after a very tough year. In February, the E! personality found out that her baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, allegedly hooked up with Kylie Jenner’s ex-BFF Jordyn Woods at his house after a night out. “They were cuddling, holding hands. Tristan was rubbing her ass, they were definitely hooking up,” a source told In Touch at the time.
A few months later, Khloé even defended the 28-year-old athlete after a troll made some hurtful comments on Instagram. “I know Khloé hates Tristan, but baby True starting to look just like him,” the fan captioned a side-by-side photo of True and her daddy in July.
“Why would I ever hate anyone who helped create such an angel?” she clapped back. “People make mistakes, but I won’t hurt my own healing by holding onto hate. I’m too busy raising my beautiful baby and securing that [money] to hate any individual. Sweet True has always looked like her daddy. She’s beautiful!!”
In the end, it seems like the mom of one came out on top. “Emotionally, you have to be really, really strong in this environment we’ve created,” she said in the season finale of KUWTK. “I know, as much as these people hurt us, I also know that, if we can just make them better, and I can be that person, I know I’m strong enough to do that. It just sucks it has to be so public.”
