So much drama! On the Sunday, June 9, episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloé Kardashian was not happy with her sister Kim Kardashian after she invited their former stepfather, Caitlyn Jenner, to the annual Christmas Eve party.

“Why did you feel the need to invite Cait to Christmas Eve?” Khloé asked Kim during a meal. “I was just trying to make peace, and I said in that first text, ‘OK, are we all just going to invite everyone?’ And I thought the consensus was yes,” Kim, 38, replied.

Unfortunately, the 34-year-old got very defensive. “I never even saw that conversation,” she said. Kourtney Kardashian also took Khlo’s side.

Ultimately, the mom of four felt as though she made a big mistake. “I just never should have invited her. I thought I was doing the right thing. I just wanted peace.”

However, Khloé shared that she didn’t think it was fair to their mother, Kris Jenner, since the former flames stopped speaking after Caitlyn wrote her tell-all book. “But what about mom’s peace? Who wants mom’s peace? That is what matters. Do we care about Caitlyn’s peace when she never cared about ours? We don’t want our mom to be uncomfortable at her own party and yes, it is mom’s party. She created it,” Khloé said.

After the Revenge Body host asked Kim to disinvite Cait, Kris said she already told Kendall Jenner that her dad was coming. “I promise you, I’m fine. Just let it go. Vodka’s my friend,” the matriarch insisted.

Luckily, it seems like the former Olympian, 69, and Khloé were able to put the past behind them. During an appearance on the “Divorce Sucks with Laura Wasser” podcast on Monday, May 20, the Good American designer shared her thoughts on Cait’s partner, Sophia Hutchins.

“She’s really, really sweet too. She’s really sweet. She’s younger, but, like, she’s not bothering anyone. She’s super sweet,” the mom of one said.

The reality starlet even gave an update on her relationship with the I Am Cait alum. “I saw Caitlyn recently, trying to think when, but yeah, when I see Caitlyn, it’s fine,” she explained. “I think we’ve really come a long way. It was a struggle for all of us … not because she was transitioning. I think from just how it was all handled.”

She continued, “But I also think, when your emotions die down, you’re really able to look at everything and be like, ‘We’re all humans, and we’re all trying to figure this out.’ I could only imagine how difficult that had to be to tell your children something like that, but at the time, information was withheld from us, and we had to find out through media channels. I think all of our feelings were hurt, but now I think we’re all in a really good place, and we all just want everyone to be happy with whoever they are.”

Water under the bridge, right?
