This is surprisingly sweet. In Touch Weekly spoke to Lamar Odom after the release of his tell-all book, Darkness to Light, and he exclusively revealed the truly lovely gesture he did for Khloé Kardashian — his ex-wife — after the book came out. In Touch asked Lamar, 39, whether Khloé or anyone else from the Kardashian family had reached out since the release, and whether they are still communicating. Lamar said, “Yeah, as a matter of fact, we do. I sent her some flowers.”

Khloé, 34, first filed for divorce from the Los Angeles Lakers basketball player in 2013 but called it off after he almost died after overdosing at the Nevada based brothel, Love Ranch. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star later filed for divorce again and it was ultimately finalized in 2016. She eventually moved on with Tristan Thompson — the father of her daughter, True — but that ended after Tristan allegedly cheated on KoKo … twice.

In May, Lamar admitted that he regrets cheating on Khloé during their marriage. He noted in his book that “At the start of our marriage, I was faithful to her,” but that didn’t last. However, it sounds like the two of them are doing OK these days — In Touch asked Lamar whether Khloé was upset about anything when she reached out, and he said, “No, everything is cool.”

Lamar admitted that he would like to sit down and talk with his ex, but added that we’d have to ask Khloé about the possibility of any sort of reconciliation. “I’m always open to it,” he said. Fans who still ship this couple and who told Lamar to “go get” Khloé after news broke that Tristan had cheated again will probably be happy to hear that. But honestly, just sending the flowers is probably the best step in the right direction he could have taken — at least for now.
