When the news broke that Nipsey Hussle died after he was shot in front of his Los Angeles store, many celebrities couldn’t believe that the rapper was gone. Khloé Kardashian took to her Instagram Stories on Monday, April 1, to honor the late Grammy winner and his girlfriend, Lauren London. Apparently, the KUWTK reality star has a long history with the ATL actress, 34.

“If you love something, love it completely, cherish it, say it, but most importantly show it,” the first message read. “Life is finite and fragile, and just because something is there one day, it might not be the next. Never take that for granted. Say what you need to say, then say a little more. Say too much. Show too much. Love too much. Everything is temporary but love. Love outlives us all.”

The second message also touched upon how short life is, seemingly referring to Nipsey’s untimely death. “We think life is strong and love is fragile, but really it is the other way around. Life hangs by a thread and love holds the universe together,” the quote read. In addition, the blonde beauty posted two photos of Lauren with the “Double Up” crooner.

Many fans were upset that the Revenge Body host didn’t address Nipsey’s death sooner on social media and that she only focused on the Season 16 premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. One person wrote, “Take this down. You’re tweeting about your show above that tweet is about Nipsey passing. Have some respect, especially for an old friend Lauren London,” while another echoed, “@khloekardashian @kimkardashian I hope you reached out to Lauren London personally. Y’all were supposed to be her friend, and all I see y’all posting about is that stupid ass show, SMH.” A third person chimed in, writing, “The thing is Lauren London was their friend. That goes to show how fraudulent these bitches are!! @khloekardashian @kimkardashian yeah it’s new season but take a minute to think about other people.”

Though Koko and Lauren’s friendship goes way back, it’s unclear where their relationship currently stands. Lauren actually was a bridesmaid in Khloé and Lamar Odom’s wedding in September 2009. However, the former best friends seemed to have a falling out after Koko, 34, dated Lauren’s ex Trey Songz in 2016. Come on, that’s like girl code rule number one. While they haven’t been spotted together in a while, it’s clear that Khloé still cares about Lauren, and has her back in this devastating period.

We’re thinking of Nipsey’s friends and family during this tough time, and we hope that Khlo has reached out to support Lauren.
