Kevin Hart’s Wife Eniko ‘Hasn’t Left His Bedside’ Since Scary Car Crash: ‘They’re a Team’
After his horrifying car crash, Kevin Hart’s wife, Eniko, has been by his side every step of the way, a source told Us Weekly.
“Eniko hasn’t left his bedside,” the source said, adding, “She’s his wife. They’re a team.” The source continued, “Everything he [Kevin] does in life is for his family.” After his terrible incident, his family is stronger than ever. “They’re so committed,” the source noted. Eniko, 35, previously confirmed to TMZ that Kevin is “Going to be just fine,” adding, “He’s good. Everybody’s good, thank God. That’s it. He’s fine. He’s awake.”
In Touch confirmed that the 40-year-old was involved in a car accident in Malibu on September 1. Kevin was one of three passengers in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. The car lost control and veered off the road into an embankment. He was able to escape the vehicle and obtain medical attention. Kevin sustained a back injury and underwent surgery for three spinal fractures. He was finally released from the hospital 10 days after the crash on Wednesday, September 11.
Although Kevin was released from the hospital, he will be spending one to two weeks at an inpatient physical therapy facility, according to TMZ. Reports state that they hope to get Kevin home “as soon as possible” to begin outpatient care.
“He is a lucky man and he knows it too,” Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson said of his close friend on the premiere of The Kelly Clarkson Show. Although Kevin was supposed to guest star on the show, he could not attend due to his current state. The 47-year-old filled in for the comedian and even left his honeymoon early to check on his good pal. “I love the guy, he is one of my best friends, and honestly, I mean, thank God, it could have been a lot worse,” he said.
We are so happy to hear that Kevin is on the mend and surrounded by loved ones during this difficult time.
