Getting better. Kevin Hart’s wife, Eniko Hart, shared an update on how the actor is doing following a scary car crash on Sunday, September 1. “He’s great,” the 35-year-old beauty told TMZ on Monday, September 2, while she was on her way to visit her 40-year-old hubby at the hospital. “He’s going to be just fine. He’s good. Everybody’s good, thank God. That’s it. He’s fine. He’s awake.” When asked if Kevin was back to his goofy self, Eniko replied, “Nah.”

In Touch confirmed on Sunday that the Night School star was involved in an early-morning accident in Malibu. The collision report from the State of California Department of California Highway Patrol stated Hart was in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda along with two other people — producer Jared Black and personal trainer Rebecca Broxterman — when Black, who was driving the vehicle, lost control. The car went off the side of the road and rolled over into an embankment. Hart was able to get out safely, but his friends were trapped inside of the Plymouth. However, it seems like everyone is OK — Black was hospitalized with back injuries while Broxterman managed to escape without any serious injuries. Hart successfully underwent back surgery on Sunday night, according to reports, and he is expected to make a full recovery.

Since the incident, fans and celebrities couldn’t help but send some love to the comedian on social media. “Stop messing with my emotions, brother @kevinhart4real,” Kevin’s friend and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle costar Dwayne Johnson wrote on Instagram on Monday. “We have a lot more laughing to do together. Love you, man. Stay strong.” Meanwhile, Jamie Foxx commented on Kevin’s most recent Instagram post with three praying-hand emojis, and Bryan Cranston wrote, “I’ve just heard that @kevinhart4real was injured today in a car accident in Los Angeles. Let’s all send him positive energy and healing thoughts. He’s a good human. Get well soon, brother. B.”

We are thinking of Kevin and his family during this tough time.
