Friendly exes? It’s been one month since Kendall Jenner split from her NBA star boyfriend, Ben Simmons, but it seems like she might still be on his mind. The 22-year-old recently “liked” one of the 23-year-old model’s Instagram pictures, but he removed it shortly after.

The picture that Ben “liked” wasn’t exactly a thirst trap, per se. In the shot, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star posed in front of a colorful mural wearing a green long-sleeved dress.

It was the first time since their split that Kendall and Ben had a public interaction. As In Touch previously reported, the couple called it quits in May. “It wasn’t working out. They were long distance too much of time, and it just fizzled,” a source exclusively revealed at the time.

The timing of Kenny’s split with the Philadelphia 76er was a little awkward. Just four days before news of their breakup, Vogue Australia published their cover story where Kendall opened up about her relationship with Ben and seemed hopeful about whether they would end up getting married. “Maybe. Definitely not now, but maybe one day,” the supermodel said.

She also explained why she made the decision to keep her relationship with Ben very private. “For me, a lot of things are very special and very sacred, like my friends and relationships, and I personally think that bringing things into the public makes everything so much messier,” Kendall said.

“I’m very young, and right now I feel like relationships aren’t always super certain and I don’t want to bring too much attention to something if you don’t really know long term [what it’s going to be],” she added. “A relationship is only meant to be between two people, and the second you make it the world’s business is when it starts messing with the two people mentally. Like once everyone is let in, you’re letting all these opinions into your relationships, and I don’t think that’s fair.”
