It looks like they’re coming back! Fans have been slightly obsessed with Paul Staehle and Karine Martins ever since they starred on the first season of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé spin-off 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days for many reasons, so of course many of them have been wondering if and when they would be returning to the franchise. The network has not announced the official cast for the rest of the spin-offs yet, but Paul has been dropping major hints that he and Karine will be coming back to TV soon.

Paul took to Instagram on Sunday, June 10 to share a cute selfie with Karine, and one fan asked if Paul and Karine would be filming an update to their story for TLC at some point, and he responded, “Stayed tuned to TLC near the end of Happily Ever After for announcement of next series.”

Another fan took to Facebook to ask Paul when he’ll be returning, and Paul wrote, “TLC will make press releases of new upcoming shows and series soon. I might or might not be announced at that time.”

It seems like Paul isn’t allowed to confirm or deny the news, but he’s doing a pretty bad job at keeping it a secret. But if Paul and Karine do return, it’s hard to tell where TLC will place them. Since cameras stopped filming, Paul and Karine had a big change in plans. For some reason, they decided to cancel the visa process for Karine’s K-1 visa to America and instead, Paul moved to Brazil to be with Karine. The couple also tied the knot at some point and are still living in Brazil.

But since they no longer went throught the K-1 visa process, it wouldn’t make sense that they would be asked to join the cast of 90 Day Fiancé because all of the couples on the show should either be in the process of applying for a K-1 visa or already have been granted one. Season 3 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After is already on air, so that wouldn’t make sense. They could technically fit in on the web series 90 Day Fiancé: What Now, which is meant for couples who have already gone through the K-1 visa process and are already married.

The only other option would be that Paul and Karine will star on a new 90 Day Fiancé spin-off. Back in March, Starcasm reported that Sharp Entertainment — the company behind the 90 Day Fiancé franchise — put out a casting call looking for American men and women who were planning to move abroad to be with their fiancés. Sounds like that would be a perfect fit for Paul and Karine!
