Looks like we won’t be seeing Kanye West live anytime soon.
Shortly after it was reported that the 39-year-old “canceled” the European leg of his tour, a new report clairified that while he is not going forward with the second part of his Saint Pablo tour, it wasn’t actually canceled — being that, a source tells People, “It was never confirmed, never announced, hence not canceled.”
The decision not to move forward with the tour comes shortly after he canceled his tour following his hospitalization. Another source tells People that his “fluctuating moods” and inconsistent behavior has made it impossible to work.
“He is mercurial,” the second source notes. “One minute he is here. One minute he is there. He is very very difficult to pin down. Things are changing minute to minute.”
This has been a difficult year for Ye, both professionally and personally.
As In Touch previously reported, he and his wife Kim Kardashian, 36, are heading towards a divorce — and his mental health struggles are partially to blame.
“Before his breakdown, he was hearing voices and taking pills to sleep and to stay awake,” a Kardashian insider previously told In Touch. Another source added, “He’ll walk into a room and look for recording devices behind frames and in flower arrangements. He doesn’t trust anyone. Paranoia has taken over his life.”
Most recently, it was revealed that the husband and wife plan to face off in court over custody of their two children, North, 3, and Saint, 1 — as Kim plans to pursue full custody of the toddlers.
“She will be filing for sole custody,” a source tells In Touch. However, Kim won’t go out of her way to keep her children from their father — explaining, “She does want Kanye to be part of their lives.”
