Today in OMG, WTF, news, Kanye West shared a screenshot of his text conversation with Caitlyn Jenner. If you’re like “Okay, what’s so bad about that?” allow me to fill you in. 

On Wednesday, Aug. 29, the rapper took to Twitter to post the shot, in which Caitlyn thanks Kanye for sending her girlfriend, Sophia Hutchins, a pair of Yeezys. “Sophia loved the first set of looks your team left and went all Yeezy for her travel outfit today!” she wrote to him. “We love your looks!! Thanks again.” In response, Kanye said, “So awesome. Your [sic] welcome.” She even sent him a picture!

Cait was ousted from her famous family following her controversial book release, which was basically one big eff-you to Kris Jenner. Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, clearly took her mama’s side in the matter when she said on a 2017 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, “I have always had Caitlyn’s back. She is a liar. She is not a good person.”

Meanwhile, Caitlyn said back in November 2017 that she hadn’t talked to Kim in a year. “To be honest, I don’t talk to them anymore. Kim, I haven’t talked to in a year. They don’t want me in their lives, they bashed me pretty badly. It’s devastating when your kids do that. It really hurt.” So yeah… the texts are kind of a big deal. 

That said, the former Olympian did reunite with the Kar-Jenner clan at daughter Kylie’s 21st birthday. In fact, she was featured on Kim’s Snapchat. So maybe this means they’re back to being one big, happy, stupidly rich family?
