Kailyn Lowry Admits She Tried to Punch Briana DeJesus at the ‘Teen Mom 2’ Reunion
Damn, Kailyn Lowry is spilling all of the Teen Mom 2 tea! The 26-year-old opened up on her podcast, Coffee Convos, about what really went down between her and Briana DeJesus at the reunion. “I will clarify that I did not get beat up,” Kailyn explained. “Briana and I did not hit each other.”
But that doesn’t mean Kail didn’t try. “I did confront her in a room, no cameras, and yes, I did want to punch her and yes, I did try. The security guards got me before I could.” Yikes.
As a result of Kailyn’s behavior, Briana and her sister, Brittany DeJesus, literally went wild when they came on stage. Kail admitted she wasn’t shocked by it, either. “When she came out guns blazing, I can’t say that I was surprised.” There was one thing she didn’t see coming, though. “But, I certainly didn’t expect for Brittany to come up behind me and pull my hair. I did not expect that,” Kailyn said.
The on-stage fight between the mom of three and the DeJesus sisters got so nasty that fellow castmate Chelsea Houska left the taping and refused to come back the next day. Despite Kailyn’s beef with Briana, she did actually feel bad for Chelsea during the whole thing. The pair are super close friends and Chelsea’s pregnant, so for Kailyn to make her feel unsafe isn’t the best look — and Kailyn acknowledged that.
“I [felt] bad for Chelsea because she [is] pregnant and I had promised her I was never going to fight in front of her,” Kail said on Coffee Convos. “Chelsea is a really good friend of mine, so that bothered me a lot.”
Now that the drama is seemingly over, Kailyn admitted that she never thought things would escalate the way that they did. “I didn’t really want it to go this far. [Briana] crossed a couple of lines. After we left that room with no cameras, I was over it. I was like, ‘You know what? This is a bunch of bulls–t.’ I was like, ‘We can move on.'”
