There are few things on Teen Mom 2 as pure as the relationship between Kailyn Lowry’s firstborn, Isaac Rivera, and his former stepdad, Javi Marroquin. When Kail and Javi revealed that their marriage was over, fans immediately began to worry about little Isaac, and whether he would be able to see his former stepfather now that he was no longer living with the family.

In an exclusive interview with In Touch, she reassured fans that the seven-year-old is still bonded with her ex. “I’m comfortable with it, and it happens, lately he doesn’t really go to Javi’s house, but they go [see] each other for sports, and he’s actually taking the kids to Disney,” Kail said. “The time in the house is a little bit different, but they still have a really good relationship.”

One of the most heart-wrenching moments in Teen Mom 2 came when Lincoln — Javi and Kail’s three-year-old son — went to his father’s house, and Isaac cried that he wanted to go to Javi’s, too. While Isaac’s dad, Jo, and Kail briefly barred Isaac from seeing his stepfather, it’s clear that the adults have worked together to do what’s best for their child in this situation.

While things are definitely changing at Casa de Kail — just last month, she welcomed her third child, a little boy whose name has yet to be revealed — it would appear her boys are down for every big change that’s come their way. The reality star exclusively told In Touch that Linc can’t stop doting on his little brother, and as the oldest, Isaac is super protective of the newest addition.

“Lincoln is just over the moon, can’t keep his hands off his brother,” Kail gushed exclusively to In Touch. “And Isaac tries to teach him, like, ‘You don’t have to be all over him. It’s okay.’ He’s overprotective. It’s super-cute.”
