Though it seemed like Kailyn Lowry and her ex Chris Lopez had (mostly) been on good terms lately, fans expected s–t to hit the fan when rumors started circulating that the Teen Mom 2 star’s ex had gotten another woman pregnant. But when the mom of three finally took to Twitter to address the gossip, she kept her cool. On Sunday, September 22, she responded to fans who wanted to know what she thought — but a tweet later that night might’ve exposed her true feelings. Ups and Downs

Over the years, Kail, 27, and Chris had had a tumultuous relationship that’s included both plenty of flirting and a lot of fighting. Recently, it seemed the parents of 2-year-old Lux were getting cozy once again.

Family Vacay

In July, the Teen Mom star took her kids on a tropical getaway to Hawaii — and was surprised by her ex when he flew out to meet them. Though Kail claimed it was all Chris’ doing, the trip reignited romance rumors.

Baby No. 2

Just a few months later, though, fans started to suspect that Lux might have a little brother or sister on the way — but not because Kail is expecting baby No. 4. This time around, it’s Chris inspiring pregnancy speculation.

Asking Questions

One fan decided to take their questions to Kail directly. On Sunday, September 22, they responded to one of her unrelated tweets by asking, “How do you feel about Chris getting another woman pregnant?”

Firing Back

Surprisingly, Kail actually responded — and she didn’t seem to be too bothered by the news. “He is a free man [and] entitled to do whatever makes him happy,” she wrote simply.

No Tears

When another fan wrote, “Wow, Chris has another baby on the way. You know @KailLowry is heated right now!” along with a few other choice comments, the MTV star sarcastically shared a GIF of Farrah Abraham crying.

Delayed Reaction

Later that night, though, the star shared another tweet. Though this one wasn’t in response to any messages from her followers, fans suspected it was still about Chris.

Feeling Down

Hours after her initial replies, Kail tweeted a thought bubble emoji and a sad-looking face. In the replies, Twitter users speculated that the star was subtly revealing how she truly felt.

Getting Mad

On Instagram, she gave her followers another glimpse into how she might be feeling, though this time she was markedly less subtle. Sharing an article about the allegations, she added the hashtag #BoyBye.

Comfort

“You deserve WAY better than him do it’s definitely a BLESSING in disguise,” one fan assured the mom of three. “You’ll look back in a year and thank god you got away, just like you did with Javi [Marroquin].”

“You can do so much better than him!” added another. “Get you a real man that wants you and no one else. One that wants to spend every min and live life with you! He plays you too much.”

Moving On

Luckily, the star didn’t dwell on the situation for too long. By Monday, September 23, she was tweeting about her new puppy instead. “It’s 6 a.m. My puppy slept [through] the night, lol. Is this normal?!” she wanted to know.

New Baby

Recently, the star adopted an adorable Cane Corso she named Karma, sharing sweet photos and videos of the pooch on social media. Unfortunately, even that hasn’t been without any drama.

Puppy Problems

Fans were quick to notice in Kail’s photos that the dog’s ears were cropped, which is a controversial choice in the pet owning community. Though the Cane Corso Association of America recommends it for the brand, some believe it to be cruel.

Call Out

“[There’s] no need for it! Absolutely vile,” one fan scolded Kail on Twitter. “Please tell me you didn’t clip [her] ears,” added another. A third chimed in, “That poor baby’s ears. SMFH. Anyone who crops their dog’s ears should have it done to them.”

Setting the Record Straight

There were so many complains that Kail eventually addressed them herself, telling her followers, “Either way, the ears were cropped before I got her, so that was out of my control.”

Name Issues

The star might also come to regret her dog’s name. When the news about Chris broke, fans were quick to use it against her. “Karma is a bitch,” one wrote. “Your karma came at the quickness.”
