Rest in peace. K-pop star Sulli has died at just 25 years old after she was found dead in her home by her manager on Monday, October 14. While her cause of death is still unknown, local authorities reportedly believe it may have been suicide. The former f(x) member was found in her home in Sujeong-gu, Seongnam, which is south of Seoul.

“So far, it seems she killed herself, but we will leave all possibilities open and investigate,” police said, according to CNN.

According to the outlet, her manager last spoke to her the night before. However, by Monday, he couldn’t get a hold of her, which prompted her manager to make sure she was OK. Unfortunately, she was found dead in the second floor of her home.

In addition to believing Sulli may have taken her own life, authorities found a note, which they have yet to look deeper into.

The 25-year-old got her start in the entertainment industry when she was 11 and got a role in Ballad of Seodong — a South Korean television series. Four years after making her acting debut, Sulli, whose real name is Choi Jin-ri, became a member of the K-pop group f(x), alongside four other girls. In 2015, Sulli left the group to take a break, then to focus on a solo career. In June 2019, she released three solo songs — “Goblin,” “On the Moon” and “Dorothy.”

Fans are sending an outpour of love to the late singer on social media. “Farewell, angel. No more pain for you now. Thanks for smiling for us,” tweeted one person.

“You were the brightest, the strongest. You fight well until now. Now take rest. You will forever be loved and remembered. Rest in peace, Sulli. Jinri-ya, yu did well,” wrote a second fan.

According to several fans, before her death, Sulli opened up about seemingly being bullied. “Sully on her last broadcast: ‘I am not a bad person. I’m sorry. Why are you saying bad things about me? What did I do to deserve this?'” a third fan tweeted.

Our thoughts go out to Sulli’s friends, family and fans during this difficult time.
