“He freaked out,” an insider tells In Touch, exclusively. “He left a voicemail on Selena’s phone, and he knew she would have Abel listen to it. In it, Justin told him to ‘watch out’ because he was going to drop a song that was ‘more real than anything you’ve ever heard’ if Abel didn’t back down.”

Another source notes that the “I Can’t Feel My Face” singer didn’t heed to Justin’s requests and now, “Justin and Abel are at war.”

Selena has seemingly taken sides in the dispute — and not surprisingly, she’s siding with her current flame. She’s even released her own diss track called “It Ain’t Me,” in it, she attacks her on-again, off-again first love with lyrics such as, “We stopped seeing eye-to-eye/And I had enough.”

In the past, Selena has been candid about the fascination with her personal life. In a 2014 interview with Marie Claire, she complained about being constantly questioned about her love life, saying, “I would try to promote something that I loved, and the entire interview would be about my personal life.”

However, Justin is guilty of making his personal life public matters; he infamously punched Orlando Bloom over Miranda Kerr — and those closest to him are afraid it could happen again.
