Joy-Anna Duggar Shows Off Her Post-Baby Body As She Takes Daughter Evy to the Family Farm
Looking good! Counting On star Joy-Anna Forsyth (née Duggar) showed off her post-baby body at her family’s farm one week after giving birth to her daughter, Evelyn Mae, with husband Austin Forsyth.
“First time to the family farm and I think she loves it as much as I do,” Joy captioned an Instagram photo of herself holding her baby girl on Sunday, August 30. “Anytime we go outside she just relaxes and takes it all in. #EvelynMaeForsyth.”
In the photo, the proud mama can be seen rocking a black skirt and T-shirt, highlighting her slimmer frame. “How did you just have a baby?! You look amazing!” close friend Carlin Bates commented on the sweet photo.
Joy and Austin welcomed their bundle of joy on August 21. “To say my heart is full is an understatement,” she wrote on Instagram with a photo of her newborn. “We have been dreaming of this day and are so happy to announce that our baby girl arrived August 21 at 2:12 p.m. weighing 8 lbs, 5 oz and is 19.5 inches long! She has the best personality, is easy going and loves to be held! She has her nights and days mixed up, but honestly, I love it! Getting to spend that quiet, quality time with her through the night has been SO special!”
Days later, Joy and Austin revealed the special name they gave their little girl. “Evelyn Mae Forsyth. I wanted her name to be perfect and elegant!” she shared via Instagram on August 27. “We had a hard time deciding, but after a few days finally settled on ‘Evy Mae’ and we think it fits her perfectly!”
Evelyn is baby No. 2 for the happy couple. Joy and Austin welcomed their son, Gideon, in February 2018 after tying the knot in May 2017. Their baby joy comes shortly after the parents suffered a miscarriage at 20 weeks in June 2019.
Since the loss of their daughter, whom they named Annabell Elise, the pair often honors her on social media in hopes to keep her memory alive. After losing a child, they are thrilled to have their rainbow baby in their arms.
