Josiah And Lauren Duggar May Already Be Pregnant Say TLC Sources

Lately, there has been plenty of speculation about whether or not Josiah Duggar and his new wife, Lauren Swanson, are expecting. From sort-of baby bump sightings to Pinterest board investigations, the family’s fans have been hard at work anticipating news of a new Duggar grandchild. And as it turns out, that news might be on it’s way — whether or not the new bride is already pregnant. According to a report from Hollywood Life, the couple has been trying to get pregnant for a hot minute now.

“Lauren and Josiah have been married five months now and it’s not a secret that they’ve been trying for a baby since their wedding night,” a source inside Counting On‘s production team told Hollywood Life. “So it’s very likely she’s already pregnant.” In fact, there are even rumors circulating amongst the crew that the 19-year-old is definitely already expecting. Apparently, both members of the couple want a big family like the ones they grew up with, and they’re thrilled about getting such a quick start on things.

“It’s not something they’re sharing publicly yet but the word behind-the-scenes on production is that she is expecting and they’re both over the moon happy about it,” the source said. “She comes from a family of nine kids, she’s on the same page as Josiah when it comes to a big family. They’re both still very young themselves but they’re very eager to get started on having kids.”

We can’t say we’re surprised to hear it! We’ve been waiting on a pregnancy announcement from the couple for a while now. Given the family’s beliefs, it seems almost past due. After all, Josiah and Lauren’s second kiss may have been a flop, but their first kiss was probably the most passionate of all the Duggar couples’ first kisses. There’s just no way these two weren’t sprinting to the bedroom once they left their wedding reception.

We’re betting that they’re just being a little more cautious than the other couples have been and waiting for the second trimester to announce. After all, Lauren did get her associate’s degree in nursing. Given her education, she must be familiar with how the whole thing works. If we haven’t heard anything in a few weeks, though, you can bet we’ll be driving to Tontitown to check things out for ourselves.
