Jinger Duggar seemed happier than ever on her wedding day with Jeremy Vuolo — and fans will see on the upcoming season of Jill & Jessa: Counting On how she prepared for their first kiss.
“Either he initiates or you initiate,” her older sister Jill Duggar — who In Touch previously reported is pregnant with her second child — explained.
Meanwhile, her other pregnant older sister, Jessa Duggar, expressed her sadness about Jinger moving to Texas.
“I’m really, really excited for her, but I’m also sad she’s going to be moving away. She won’t be around when the baby arrives,” she said.
“So excited to share this news that we are now engaged,” they said in a statement at the time. “From both of us, thank you all for the countless well-wishes we’ve received during the courtship. We are so excited to take this next step in spending our lives together. We are so grateful for how the Lord has brought us together. It has been an incredible journey so far and we are excited about serving Christ together in the coming days.”
The reality star also gushed at the time that Jeremy was "the answer to [her] prayers."
“I asked God for this in a future spouse, and He has done far above anything I could have ever imagined or dreamed in bringing Jeremy into my life," she told Us Weekly.
They tied the knot on Nov. 5, 2016, in front of roughly 1,000 of their loved ones — including her disgraced older brother Josh Duggar — at the Cathedral of the Ozarks at John Brown University.
Her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, seemed to be over-the-moon for the couple.
"We are so excited for Jinger and Jeremy," the Duggar patriarch said at the time. "They just got married, and they are such a sweet couple. Jinger is one of the most dynamic, just beautiful, godly girls that I know, and Jeremy is such a passionate, just loving, kind, spiritual leader. And they're a dynamic duo."
