Jim Edmonds’ Girlfriend Kortnie O’Connor Spends Time With His Kids Amid Meghan King Divorce

Jim Edmonds’ girlfriend, Kortnie O’Connor, spent quality time with his children on Sunday, May 17, amid his divorce from former Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King. The influencer posted several videos on her Instagram Story getting to know Meghan and Jim’s three kids — daughter Aspen, 3, and 23-month-old twin boys Hart and Hayes.
In the adorable video, Kortnie captured one of Meghan’s little men vacuuming the kitchen floor. “He loves to vacuum,” she captioned the cute clip. He looked like he was having fun with the cleaning equipment while Aspen was spotted in the distance eating at her high chair. “He’s still going,” she added with a crying laughing emoji.
Kortnie and Jim, 49, linked up in January after he and Meghan, 35, broke up in October 2019 after five years together. Following the news of Jim’s new relationship, Meghan threw shade at the couple on her podcast, “Intimate Knowledge.” Meghan and Kortnie used to be good friends and the former couple Included her in a threesome during their marriage. The podcast host criticized Jim for moving on too fast, especially with someone they used to be intimate with.
Months later, it appears Meghan has gotten over her disdain for the new lovers. “If Jim is happy, then their kids are happy, and that’s all that she cares about,” a source exclusively told In Touch about Meghan’s new perspective in April. “All that fighting and drama is in the past. As long as Jim does the right thing for their kids, she considers it water under the bridge. It’s very rare, but everyone seems to have moved on, and everyone is at peace. For now, anyway.”
Although Meghan and Kortnie were once pals, she doesn’t plan to “become buddies” with the former athlete’s ladylove, another source told In Touch in March. “If it becomes more serious, then [Meghan will] figure out a plan,” the insider said. “Meghan isn’t trying to plan Jim’s future, but he and Kortnie do seem to be getting on well. … Right now, Meghan doesn’t want any women influencing her and Jim’s kids but her.”
Jim filed for divorce one day after his and Meghan’s fifth wedding anniversary. In November, the former flames settled on 50/50 custody of their three children and agreed on a “parenting plan” to split their time evenly during the holidays.
Despite the drama, Jim and Kortnie appear to be going strong. The two are “obsessed” with each other and “all seems to be working out just fine,” the source added. “To be honest, Jim wasn’t sure it was going to work out this well, but he and Kortnie are a good match. They have a lot in common, they laugh, they work out together and she gets along with his older kids. Right now, everything seems to be perfect.”
