Meghan, 35, previously reflected on the beginning of her relationship with Jim, 49, during an interview with Page Six in July 2019. She had been divorced from her first husband and dating someone else when she met Jim. But just three months after she split from her boyfriend, Jim asked her out on a date and she agreed.

But when Meghan and Jim started dating, he was still legally married to his second wife, Allison Jayne Raski. Jim and Allison’s divorce was finalized sometime in early 2014.

October 24, 2014

Wedding bells rang for Jim and Meghan in October of that year! At the time of their nuptials, Meghan was a guest on the hit Bravo reality TV series, The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Meghan joined as a main cast member on RHOC, and she was close with costar Tamra Judge.

August 2015

During RHOC season 10, Meghan was involved in a feud with Vicki, 57, after Meghan accused Vicki’s boyfriend at the time, Brooks Ayers, of faking his cancer battle. Jim intervened in Meghan’s fight with Vicki, and that’s when Vicki addressed Jim with what fans have perceived is a prediction of the couple’s split.

“Jim, talk to me in five years when you’re divorced,” Vicki said. “I feel bad for him; he’s in a bad situation.”

November 24, 2016

In 2016, Jim and Meghan welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Aspen. Before conceiving, Meghan was open with her fans about her struggle with fertility and her IVF journey.

Jim is also a dad to children from his previous marriages. He shares daughters Hayley Edmonds and Lauren Edmonds with his late first wife, LeAnn Edmonds Horton. He shares son Landon Edmonds and daughter Sutton Edmonds with ex-wife, Allison.

For Meghan’s second season on RHOC, she documented her life as a new mom. At the time, it seemed like it was all baby bliss for Meghan and Jim.

2017

By season 12 of RHOC, there seemed to be rumors swirling about Meghan and Jim’s marital issues. Meghan’s costar Kelly Dodd accused her of having an affair with Jim during his marriage to Allison, and Kelly also claimed Jim had cheated on Meghan while she was pregnant with Aspen. Both Meghan and Jim denied the cheating allegations at the time.

December 2017

Meghan announced her second pregnancy via Instagram. “Surprise, surprise! We’re having TWINS! Oh boy oh boy! 💙💙#doubletrouble #threeundertwo,” she wrote at the time.

Meghan announced her departure from RHOC after three seasons, and she revealed the reason was so that she could focus on her family and her second pregnancy.

Meghan and Jim welcomed twin sons, Hayes and Hart. It was during this time that Jim had been involved in a text message cheating scandal, which wouldn’t come to light until a year later.

After Jim’s cheating scandal was revealed, he released a statement to Us Weekly admitted his involvement. “Regrettably, I had a lapse in judgment. I engaged in an inappropriate conversation with this person,” Jim told the outlet on June 13. “At no time was there any type of relationship or physical contact. Absolutely none.”
