Mmm? ‘Tis the season for chef Jill Duggar to whip up one of her favorite fall dishes: taco soup, which happens to be full of canned ingredients. The former Counting On star has a reputation for her food faux pas and although she seemed to be adding fresh vegetables to the mix for a bit — Jill’s seemingly gone back to her old ways with this latest recipe!

“I can’t help but to snatch a few bites from the pot while it’s simmering on the stove,” the 27-year-old wrote in a new blog post. “For awhile, my mom made this about every Friday evening when they would host a Bible study at their house. She’d usually triple the recipe to make it ‘Duggar Sized.’ It’s easy to throw together and easy to keep hot on the stove or in a crock pot.” Jill opted for canned tomatoes, beans, and chillies, but she did use a fresh onion!

For a while, fans have been under the impression that the mother-of-two prepares her meals solely from canned and processed food items. However, on Aug. 8, she surprised people by sharing her Voeller Salad Dressing recipe which included fresh vegetables. Of course, she had her fair share of critics. “Since when is a bowl of lettuce a salad? I get it though. Jill grew up eating cheap boxed meals, so she’s not familiar with fresh meals,” one wrote.

Just a few days ago, Jill whipped up some Mocha Heath Cloud Brownies and people weren’t feeling her presentation in the least. “If anyone can do it, @jillmdillard can! The same way she can fit countless forms of salt and fat into savory dishes. You might say; She’s gifted in these areas,” one commenter joked. However, her husband Derick Dillard is apparently a huge fan of the recipe. “This stuff is legit!” he wrote via Twitter. “Jill made it this week and I had like seven pieces! #selfcontrol.” We have to hand it to her since she keeps trying!
