Jinger Duggar’s Husband Jeremy Was Reportedly Arrested for Harassing a Cop and We’re Shook
OMG! Jinger Duggar’s husband, Jeremy Vuolo, was reportedly arrested in 2008 for harassment against a police officer. According to Radar Online, the TLC personality, 30, became aggressive toward a cop after a night of drinking.
A police report from Oneonta Police Department, obtained by the website and published on Friday, Oct. 27, stated, “An intoxicated male who appeared to be a friend of the male that was involved was acting belligerent and shouting obscenities while in front of numerous subjects.” That “friend” was “identified later as Jeremy Vuolo.”
The reporting officer allegedly said that Jeremy was instructed to “calm down” several times. “For no apparent reason, Vuolo walked up to [the officer] and grabbed his right arm/bicep in a forceful manner,” the report read. “Subsequently, Vuolo was arrested and transported back to HQ, where he was booked and later released to a sober friend.”
According to the report, Jeremy’s blood alcohol content level was .13% at the time of his arrest. The retired soccer player’s past is certainly shocking — but, if any Duggar were to tie the knot with a former bad boy, it would be Jinger. As fans are well aware, the 23-year-old is not afraid to break the strict rules of the Counting On clan. Whether it’s wearing pants (gasp!) or rumors of being on birth control, homegirl does what she wants. And, TBH, that’s what we love about her.
Though Jinger — who moved far away from her Arkansas home to settle down in Texas with Jeremy — marches to the beat of her own drum, she means no disrespect to Jim Bob, Michelle, and the rest of the Duggar family. “They aren’t attacking their family’s belief system,” a source previously told Radar. “The family doesn’t mind at all. They are thrilled to see them push out on their own.”
