Leah Messer’s Baby Daddy Jeremy Calvert Says He Won’t Return to ‘Teen Mom 2’
It looks like Teen Mom 2 will be down another dad next season! Leah Messer's baby daddy Jeremy Calvert revealed he doesn't plan to come back to the hit MTV show. When asked about whether or not he would be starring in Season 9, he simply said "Nope, I'm not," to OK!.
While Jeremy hasn't given his fans any reasons for his decision, he did tweet his discontent with the show back in May. "This s–t isn't about the kids at all anymore how about let's focus on the reason this f–king show started. So glad I missed the reunion once again." Jeremy should know, he's been involved with plenty of non-kid-related drama, including beefing on Twitter with Jenelle Evans' husband David Eason.
Jeremy also liked a telling tweet from a fan, which may hold more clues to his reason for leaving. "Time for the show to end," wrote the fan. "It was SUPPOSED to be about the struggles of 'teen moms', but now it's about women, who would otherwise be working at Walmart or McDonald's, feeling and acting like entitled 'celebrities'. Wait til the MTV 'welfare' checks are gone and see what happens."
Teen Mom 2 lost another dad recently: David. David was fired from the show for posting homophobic rants online, and has consistently tried to stay relevant by picking fights with current cast members. While David was forced to leave, Jeremy will part on his own terms as a beloved cast member. We wish him all the best!
