The First Clip of Catelynn Lowell on ABC’s ‘What Would You Do?’ Dropped and It’s Emotional AF
The wait is almost over! Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Lowell took to Instagram earlier this summer to reveal that she was filming for ABC’s What Would You Do? On July 10, she formally announced that her episode will be airing on Friday, July 13, at 9 p.m. ET.
Seeing as the now-26-year-old has only ever graced the MTV screen, fans were quick to congratulate her new venture. "Hell yeah girl!! Can’t wait to see it. You look great momma!! Sending positive vibes always!" wrote one user. "OMG! Keep us posted on when this airs," wrote another.
Now, for those of you who don’t know, What Would You Do? is a series hosted by John Quiñones that presents everyday people with dilemmas that require action. The dilemmas generally deal with social issues in the realm of racism, homophobia, and sexual harassment. If anything, think of the series as extreme people watching.
On July 12, the show's official Instagram account shared a sneak peek of Catelynn's episode and it looks intense! No, seriously, grab some tissues, y'all.
Judging by the clip, it looks like Catelynn will be tackling teenage pregnancy and adoption. Which is exactly what fans have speculated since she announced she was going on the show. "Guarantee it’s about adoption, being a teen mom, or mental illness. That’s her identity," one reddit user guessed.
"Probably something with adoption, miscarriage, or depression. I think other photos from her episode showed a restaurant, so maybe it’s someone meeting their birth mother or potential adoptive parents?" another fan chimed in.
