Hollywood leading lady Jennifer Lawrence had a big scare this weekend!

The Passengers actress was aboard a private plane that was forced to make an emergency landing on June 10. According to E! News, the aircraft was flying from Louisville, KY when one of the engines failed at 31,000 feet. The pilot began to make an emergency landing when unfortunately the other engine failed as well. Despite the double-engine failure, the pilot was able to make a successful landing in Buffalo, NY.

Jennifer’s rep told the outlet that the actress was unharmed and is currently safe. The star was leaving her home state of Kentucky, where she’d been spending time with her family over the weekend and was headed for Teterboro Airport in New Jersey.

So scary for J-Law and the crew! Thankfully no one on board the plane was harmed. Fans were quick to tweet their reactions to the actress’ terrifying experience. One fan tweeted, “This really shook me since I woke up this morning & again I thank the Almighty God for protecting Jennifer Lawrence & everyone on the plane.” While another added, “Omg thank goodness!!! I love her so much. Glad she’s safe.”

Once the crew and passengers had landed safely at Buffalo Niagara International Airport, authorities were quick to arrive at the scene. The FAA is currently investigating the incident.
