She’s telling her side of the story. Jenelle Evans hid in the closet away from her children to tape a confessional, discussing the domestic violence allegations involving her husband David Eason. Her new video comes days after a chilling 911 call surfaced where the sobbing Teen Mom 2 star told the operator that she had been assaulted by her husband.

“I’ve been wanting to get some things off my chest lately. I’m reporting to you from my closet right now, because I’m trying to hide from the kids while I make this video. I just want to let you guys know that I’m completely fine,” the 26-year-old began. Jenelle revealed she’s been taking a break from social media after the ordeal. “I know everyone’s concerned about me. You know, I’ve been in so many domestic violence situations in the past that I would not put up with it now. I don’t know why you guys think I would continue to stay in this relationship if I was being abused.”

“Everyone knows that I’ve been in domestic violence situations before,” Jenelle continued. The mother-of-three said that she’s constantly met with disbelief, even though she’s telling the “truth about everything that has happened” in all of her relationships. “If you don’t believe me, I don’t know what to f–king tell you,” she said. The MTV star also discussed how everything is going with Barbara Evans after they reconnected. “My mom is here behind closed doors all the time now that she’s involved in my life again and all my close friends and family know I’m doing fine,” she said.

Jenelle stated that disconnecting from the world has been “so much better” for her. “My mental health is way more important than people bringing me down like this and making me depressed,” Jenelle said, noting: “Every time I told you guys I was in a domestic violence situation, you would not believe me. And now, that I’m saying that I’m not and I am, you guys are trying to tell me something different.” She also revealed that all of this drama will unfold on the next season of Teen Mom.

The reality star’s confessional comes after reports first surfaced that Jenelle called the police and was hospitalized. She eventually cancelled the ambulance and declined to press charges, and later claimed that she tripped and fell during a bonfire. On Oct. 17, Jenelle deleted her Twitter, and fans are continuing to send her well-wishes as she focuses on her well-being.
