On Oct. 13, police responded to Jenelle and David’s home after a female made a 911 call from the residence, Us Weekly confirms. The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office said that an ambulance was requested citing an alleged assault, but the request was later cancelled.

However, Jenelle was taken to the hospital in a private car instead. Before she left the house, police “advised [Evans] of the legal action she could take,” the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office told Us, but so far no arrests have been made and no report was filed.

On Oct. 18, a rep for Jenelle told People that there was no assault after all. “[They] had friends over Saturday night and they had a bonfire on her property. Jenelle ended up tripping and falling by the fire.” It is unclear if it was Jenelle or another female that called 911.

The explanation of a fall makes sense because Jenelle recently had surgery on her nose, so even a little fall could be catastrophic if she fell the wrong way.

However, she also posted this suspicious Instagram story, calling her dog “protection.”

Jenelle seemingly deleted her Twitter, where she often claps back at fans, sets the record straight, and defends her husband David, on Oct. 18. The account was active just one day earlier.

Though many fans worried that David may have been involved in some way, he took to Instagram to prove everything is fine by sharing this NSFW pic of his wife.

He captioned the photo: “I’m just sitting here drooling, my wife looks over and says ‘did you hear me’?…. ummm what’d you say babe, I was preoccupied for a second!?” So it sounds like they’re still on good terms.
