Jenelle Evans Slammed for Encouraging Her Sons to Call David Eason “Dad”
Another day, another Jenelle Evans controversy! The Teen Mom 2 star received backlash from fans after snapping a seemingly innocent photo and posting it to Instagram. The reality star — who has three children from different fathers — was sent nasty comments after people learned she’s encouraging all of her children to call her now-husband, David Eason, “dad.” Watch the video below for more details!
Yet this isn’t the first time the reality star mama has gotten herself into hot water over a photo. Last week, mommy shamers came out of the woodwork after Jenelle posted a photo of her sweet fam in a hot tub. “Shouldn’t a three-year-old not be in a hot tub?” one person wrote. Another added, “You should get the kids out of the hot tub.” A third chimed in, “I do know that boys under the age of 18 aren’t supposed to be in hot tubs.” Everyone’s an expert, apparently!
Last month, Jenelle found herself in a custody battle with another grandma. No, not Babs! Kaiser’s maternal grandmother Doris Davidson — the mother of Jenelle’s ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith — filed for emergency temporary custody of the three-year-old, but Jenelle isn’t worried about the possibility of losing custody of her second son. “Doris made accusations but I can tell you that Barbara has a lot to do with them…Doris threw her own son under the bus by admitting that he has pending felonies and possibly on drugs,” Jenelle said in a statement to E! News. “Her emergency filing was against me and Nathan both. I can tell you that they are allegations, mostly driven by my mom. Our lawyers are working out a new agreement.” She just can’t catch a break.
Teen Mom 2 airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on MTV.
