Well, all of Jenelle’s kids at least. It seems that David’s son may have been with his mom.

They got some pretty cute gifts.
But we couldn’t help but notice a pattern. After drama with Jenelle’s cosmetics company — fans haven’t gotten an update in months, and the website seems to have shut down — Ensley got a sweet little vanity where she could play with toy makeup.
And when they left, he showed off a stockpile of ammo.
The video was unnerving enough considering that David seemed to be threatening not only the authorities, but anyone who stepped foot on his property. The scariest part, though, was just how much ammunition he keeps easily on hand — and how it seems to be pretty accessible for the kids, too.

He even seemed to confirm that in the comments on one of his posts.
“Just as long as you make sure to have them in a locked area so your precious babies can’t handle them,” a concerned fan wrote on Instagram. “They know how to handle them so there are less chances of accidents or curiosity with guns,” David wrote back, seeming to imply that nothing was safely locked away, but that his kids knew better.

He also said they learn from watching him.
“What an example to set your kids,” a critical follower wrote, with David snapping back, “That’s how they learn around here.”

But toy guns aren’t just toys in the Eason household — they’re training tools.

And they’ve handled real guns plenty.
David frequently lets the kids handle guns, including taking Jace to shoot squirrels on their land.

And Jenelle is no stranger to firearms either.
And again, it seems that she and her husband seem to frequently fire guns on their land, and we just have to wonder how careful they are with their kids running around.

We hope that the kids enjoyed their Christmas.
But we hope that they’re learning how to stay safe, too.
