He knows how to work a look. In honor of Jeff Goldblum’s birthday on October 22, we decided to check out some of his most iconic style moments — and the actor has a lot of them.

Jeff, now 67, first started acting in films in the 1970s and has become a household name since. To be honest, the Jurassic Park actor didn’t seem as daring with his fashion early on in his career. He really started to get experimental with his looks in the 2000s and now you’d be hard-pressed to find the guy not rocking an odd print or interesting suit on the red carpet these days.

December 2004

At The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou premiere in December 2004, Jeff stood out in a dark blue suit with a gray shirt underneath. The colors definitely popped next to each other and it was at least something different from the black and white suits so many actors don at events.

February 2009

Jeff played the title character in Adam Resurrected, based on a 1968 novel of the same name. He showed up at the Berlinale Film Festival, Berlin, Germany for the premiere of the movie on February 7, 2009, and paired his dark suit with a black scarf and gloves.

February 2014

Now fairly regularly wearing glasses as part of his red carpet looks, Jeff wore another dark suit to The Grand Budapest Hotel film premiere at the 64th Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin in February 2014 but added a long burgundy jacket over the ensemble, adding just a touch of something “extra.”

Biker chic! In a green khaki outfit, Jeff arrived at a Safe Kids Day event at Smashbox Studios, in Culver City, California in April 2016. He added a black leather jacket, too.

Check out that print! Not only did the Thor: Ragnarok actor add a dark hat to his ensemble for the Independence Day: Resurgence film press conference in Mexico City on June 17, 2016, but he rocked a black and white print under his charcoal suit as well.
