Jamie Foxx Teases Details About His Vacation With Girlfriend Katie Holmes In Miami

The couple that plays together, stays together! Jamie Foxx and his girlfriend Katie Holmes are one of the most private couples in Hollywood, but they recently threw all caution to the wind as they allowed themselves to be spotted having fun in the sun during their romantic Miami vacation over New Year’s weekend. On Saturday, Jan. 6, Jamie attended Sean Penn’s J/P HRO & Disaster Relief Organizations Gala in LA, and he had one word to describe his vacay with his longtime love.

“It was foolish!” Jamie, 51, told Us Weekly at the event. Jamie was spotted at the gala just one week after he was spotted lounging on a yacht and riding jet skis with Katie — and the couple even packed on some rare PDA in a handful of photos.

Katie, 40, and Jamie have been dating since 2013 — just one year after she left her ex-husband, movie star Tom Cruise — but they kept their relationship under wraps. Just recently, the couple has been spotted out together more often — like during Katie’s 40th birthday dinner at Serendipity in NYC last month, and they’ve also been seen out and about as a couple in New Orleans, where they are currently living together.

In December, insiders told Life & Style that Jamie and Katie moved in together in New Orleans because they’re both currently working on projects in The Big Easy — Katie is currently filming for her movie, The Secret, and Jamie is working on Netflix’s upcoming film, Power. “Once they’ve wrapped, Katie and Jamie will go off together for a romantic dinner or take a walk around the French Quarter,” sources revealed.

“Katie’s a huge fan of the city, but having Jamie there with her makes it feel like home and even more fun!” an insider continued. “The fact that Jamie has spent so much time with Katie in New Orleans means the world to her. It’s a sign that he’s really serious about their relationship.”
