Mother-Daughter Time! Katie Holmes Goes On Ski Trip With Suri After Miami Vacation With Jamie Foxx
Nothing like spending quality time with family! Katie Holmes, 40, enjoyed the beginning of 2019 by taking her daughter, Suri Cruise, on a ski trip. On Jan. 1, the Dawson’s Creek alum posted a couple of photos from their cute family vacation.
The brunette beauty captioned one black-and-white photo, “Happy New Year!” and it showed her on skis with 12-year-old Suri and her two friends.
Katie also shared a snap with Mary-Margaret Humes, who played James Van Der Beek’s mother on Dawson’s Creek, and the two looked cozy as they sat in a corner booth. “What a gift to share some wine and laughter with my dear friend @thereal_marymargarethumes #dawsonscreek.”
Funny enough, James also celebrated Christmas with his TV mom. He captioned a sweet photo of his kids and wife with Mary-Margaret and wrote, “If you played my mom on TV for six years…you can bring my kids cookies before lunch and get away with it. #AsLongAsYouHideSomeForMe #DawsonsCreek.”
The actress traded in sun for snow as she was recently spotted with her boyfriend, Jamie Foxx, in Miami on Dec. 29. The lovebirds were spotted kissing on a yacht and were all smiles as they rode jet skis together.
The couple used to be rather private about their relationship, but lately they have been showing some PDA on recent trips to New Orleans and New York City. The Robin Hood actor has even moved in with Katie while she has been filming The Secret in New Orleans, a source told In Touch exclusively.
“Jamie’s completely head-over-heels in love with Katie and can’t bear to be apart from his girlfriend. Whenever he’s not working, he flies to New Orleans to be by her side and support her,” the source said.
So, what does Suri think about her mom’s new beau? “Suri goes to [Jamie] for fatherly advice and guidance,” the source revealed. Suri approves of Jamie and just wants her mom to be happy.”
Aw, it sounds like they are one big happy family!
