Another day, another Jackson Roloff update! The most recent addition to the Little People, Big World family is now "almost" talking, according to Grandpa Matt. The 55-year-old took to Facebook to post a sweet video of his grandson making inaudible noises and captioned it, "Jackson just starting to talk to grandpa already… almost."
Jackson Kyle Roloff was born on May 12 to Zach and Tori Roloff, and luckily for fans, the proud parents love showing him off on social media. On July 12, Tori posted a photo of her little one on Instagram and gave an update. She wrote, "Our Baby J is two months old today! How?! Baby J is sleeping a consistent 7 hours! Loves smiling at mom and dad! Falls asleep during pool time. Gets excited when we change his diaper. LOVES bath time. Hates being hungry. Jackson is 98th percentile for height and weighs over 12 pounds! Keep growin baby J!"

Shortly after he was born, Zach and Tori announced that he has achondroplasia, which means he is a dwarf like his father. Jackson should have a normal lifespan, but he is expected to grow to the average height of four feet, four inches.
"You have to encourage a dwarf child a little more because it will take them five steps to do what others can do in two,” Zach said. "But I knew, dwarf or not, I was going to parent my child with the mentality that not everyone gets a trophy. You have to earn it. I want people to know that he’s just like his dad: Being a dwarf is just part of the whole package of who he is." They are the best parents — and it looks like Matt is the best grandpa too!
