Briana DeJesus Says ‘Teen Mom’ Needs to ‘Stop Playing’ with Mackenzie McKee’s Emotions

She’s over it. Briana DeJesus from Teen Mom 2 has some thoughts on the rumors that Teen Mom 3 star Mackenzie McKee will join Teen Mom OG after Bristol Palin’s departure. Specifically, she thinks MTV needs to decide whether it’s a done deal or not. She retweeted one post about the speculation on June 3 and wrote, “Y’all need to stop playing with this girls emotions and let her know if she’s officially joining the franchise or not LOL.”

Briana, 25, later responded to a fan who tweeted, “😂😂 Bri OMG.” The reality TV star replied, “I’m not being mean. They’ve been stringing her along for a long time.” She’s just looking out for her fellow young mama!

Multiple sources previously confirmed to Radar Online that Mackenzie, 24, will step in as the newest cast member for the Teen Mom franchise after Bristol left. “Mackenzie has been filming,” a source told the outlet. “She will appear in a few episodes towards the end of the season.” However, a different insider told Radar that her appearance is just a “trial period” for now.

Bristol, 28, confirmed that she quit Teen Mom OG in early April. She shared a statement via Instagram about her decision, and explained, “Teen Mom OG wasn’t a fit for me, it took away my peace … and honestly — my peace has a price tag that no one but God can afford. $ doesn’t impress me, I don’t entertain BS, and walking away from this show allows God to rebuild me (and my little fam) in the right direction. So, would the show be a better fit for Mackenzie? She doesn’t appear to have addressed the rumors on social media, but we’re willing to guess that she’d like the matter settled once and for all — and Briana probably wouldn’t mind knowing exactly what’s going on, either!
