Ready for Baby! ‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Catelynn Lowell Reveals She’s Getting IUD Taken Out
Baby on board?! Catelynn Lowell revealed on last night’s brand new episode of Teen Mom OG that she’s stopping her birth control. The reality star mama — who shares daughter Novalee Reign with Tyler Baltierra — tried to fool her husband into thinking she was just getting a pap smear, but really she was going to get her IUD taken out.
To be fair, Tyler told Cate that he wanted to be “surprised” if they ended up getting pregnant again. He said he was ready to have another baby now that their daughter is in school but didn’t want to know if Catelynn was having her IUD taken out or not. Apparently, she’s not a very good liar!
Earlier this year, a fan asked the couple when people can expect a pregnancy announcement, and Tyler replied, “Hopefully SOON.” Yay! Cate also sparked speculation in her own right recently. On Tuesday, Nov. 7, the reality star took to her Twitter and couldn’t contain her enthusiasm. “Y’all I’m so excited!” she wrote to her one million followers. While the message seems innocent enough, fans couldn’t help but assume that MTV star would be announcing her pregnancy soon. “Omg you’re pregnant!?! ?” one fan wrote in response, while another added, “You’re PREGNANT, or Farrah’s gone for good… Either way, SO AM I!!! ❤️❤️❤️”
However, last month, Catelynn shocked fans when she announced that she decided to go to rehab after experiencing suicidal thoughts, so its unlikely the pair decided to try for baby No. 3 — the couple also have daughter Carly, whom they placed for adption as teenagers in 2009. Although we’d love to meet a new little Baltierra — maybe a boy?! — we hope Cate is getting the help she needs first.
Teen Mom OG airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on MTV.
