Poor Henry! Jessa Seewald’s Son Legit Pouts When Playtime Ends and It’s Too Cute

It starts with a little lounging — after all, it looks like little Henry is still just in his pajamas. “Have you ever heard a 19 month old whistle? Neither have I. Ha!” Jessa joked in the captions. “But it does look like that’s what he’s doing in this pic.” Who can blame the kid for taking his time soaking up the sunshine?

Spurgeon, however, looks a little more ready to get down to business. He’s even rocking a button-down and jeans! How dressed up. “Lovely evening for playing in the backyard… until the mosquitos came out to eat us,” Jessa wrote. Looks like those long sleeves and pants came in handy!

But for these little kids, things quickly turn silly, even when your attire is more “casual Fridays” than “summers in the sun.” Can you spot Henry in the background wiggling around on that chair?

He’s climbing all over it. Hey, who needs a backyard play equipment when you’ve got perfectly good patio chairs?

Okay, so maybe we need that background play equipment after all. It wasn’t long before the boys were climbing all over the slide in the backyard, Spurgeon especially. 

And Henry got in on things too, even sliding down backwards. Now that’s one brave little kid! It’s a good thing his big bro was down at hte bottom of the slide watching over everything. “If they had it their way, these boys would never come inside,” Jessa wrote. 

“That last pic is Henry EVERY SINGLE TIME backyard playtime comes to an end,” his mom explained. We know what she means! This is also exactly what we look like when playtime is over, too. Happy camper? Yeah, not so much. But, hey, we’re not nearly half so cute as Henry is. At least he’s got that going for him!
