Making their own rules. After nine months of being married, Gwyneth Paltrow revealed in a new interview that she still doesn’t live with her husband, Brad Falchuk.

The 46-year-old told The Sunday Times on Sunday, June 9, that her hubby spends three nights a week at his own house and then four nights a week at her Los Angeles home — but the blonde beauty doesn’t find it strange in the slightest. “Oh, all my married friends say that the way we live sounds ideal, and we shouldn’t change a thing,” she confessed. Even Gwyn’s intimacy teacher, Michaela Boehm, approves of the unconventional living arrangement and told her that it gives the marriage “polarity.”

The Goop founder and the 48-year-old married in a private ceremony in the Hamptons on September 29, 2018, with plenty of celebrities in attendance including Jerry Seinfeld, Robert Downey Jr., Cameron Diaz and Rob Lowe.

Gwyneth shares two kids — Apple, 15, and Moses, 13 — with her ex-husband, Chris Martin, while Brad has two kids — Brody and Isabella — from a previous marriage. The actress previously hinted that she was a little nervous to bring both families together under one roof.

“We are still doing it in our own way. With teenage kids, you’ve got to tread lightly. It’s pretty intense, the teenage thing,” the mom of two told WSJ. Magazine in December 2018. “I’ve never been a stepmother before. I don’t know how to do it.”

However, it seems like Gwyn is happier than ever with her man. “For me, it has been more of a process, and so I feel really lucky to have met this person who is an incredible, true partner,” she gushed to the outlet at the time.

The California native admitted that she is living her best life these days, too. “It’s funny, I remember when I turned 40, interviewers going, ‘Oh, my God, you’re 40! What does that mean?’ as if I was ready for the old people’s home,” she told the Times. “And yet, these last six years have been the most profoundly awakening years of my life.”

You do you, girl! We’re here for it.
