‘Flip Or Flop’ Star Christina El Moussa Marries Ant Anstead In Secret Wedding Ceremony
Congrats are in order! Flip or Flop star Christina El Moussa married her boyfriend Ant Anstead in a secret wedding ceremony. The couple, who have been dating since October 2017, said “I do” during a winter wonderland-themed wedding at their Newport Beach home on Saturday, Dec. 22 — and even though Christina will be changing her last name to her new husband’s, her ex-husband and fellow Flip or Flop star Tarek El Moussa is very supportive of her nuptials.
The couple invited 70 of their closest friends and family to their home under the pretense that everyone would meet there to board a charter bus that would take them to the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade, according to People. But when guests arrived at Christina and Ant’s home, they quickly realized that they were walking into a wedding.
Christina, 35, and Ant, 39, said “I do” underneath an altar in the couple’s backyard as their children watched. “We wanted to make it about the kids,” the Wheelers Dealers host told People. “It’s the six of us. We’re a blended family so it was really important for them to be a part of it.” Christina shares Taylor, 8, and son Brayden, 3, with her ex-husband Tarek, and Ant has a daughter Amelie, 15, and a son Archie, 12, from a previous marriage.
Their wedding had a “rustic romance” theme and Christina wore a lace wedding dress by designer Ines Di Santo. She also confirmed that she would be dropping her ex-husband’s last name in favor for Ant’s. “It has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?” she told People. “Christina Anstead. We couldn’t be any happier!”
And even though Christina had a very nasty split from her ex-husband Tarek back in 2016, sources revealed that the 37-year-old doesn’t have any hard feelings. “Tarek is happy for Christina and he’s moved on,” an insider revealed to Us Weekly. “But still cares about her deeply.”
